There’s been plenty happening behind the scenes! We’re a peer-led, volunteer-run organisation, which means we’re passionate about what we do — but we’re also real people juggling lots of things along the way. 😊
We’re excited to have introduced our Logan picnics, and it’s been wonderful to see them getting underway! 🎉 Unfortunately, we’ve had to postpone some events in Toowoomba and Ipswich, and we’re really sorry about that. We’re still working hard to find volunteers who can help us bring regular activities to these areas.
The good news is that events are still happening in Maroochydore, Wynnum, the Gold Coast, Tweed Heads and Ballina! 🎉 Check out our Events page for all the upcoming dates and details.
And yes, Angela has a brain injury herself, so sometimes things don’t quite go according to plan! We’ve had a few hiccups along the way, but we’re learning, adjusting and working on getting everything a little more streamlined. And that includes updating the website! hahaha
