The Brain Injury Community Inc. is working hand in hand with Social Futures, a leading organisation dedicated to enhancing community well-being. Together we will bring a series of engaging Brain Injury Community Inc. Events to the picturesque Tweed Shire in New South Wales.
Our shared objective is rooted in fostering inclusive communities and alleviating social isolation that often accompanies brain injuries. By connecting individuals with the necessary support precisely when they require it, we aim to create an environment where everyone feels valued and supported.
Together, we aspire to make a tangible difference in the lives of Brain Injury Survivors and their support networks. We warmly invite you, along with your family and friends, to partake in our upcoming indoor and outdoor picnics. These carefully designed events are tailored to accommodate people of all abilities, ensuring that everyone can fully participate and enjoy the experience.
Our first event will take place on July 14th 2023, at the beautiful Jack Evans Boat Harbour, conveniently located on Bay Street in Tweed Heads, right next to Tweed Mall. Embracing the spirit of Christmas in July, our Outdoor Picnic will immerse attendees in a delightful festive atmosphere, providing the perfect occasion to celebrate this collaborative venture.
Whether you personally live with a brain injury or know someone who does, these events offer an inclusive and supportive network for individuals residing in the Tweed Shire. Join us for a day filled with Christmas delights, nostalgic games, laughter, and the opportunity to meet fellow members. It promises to be a joyful gathering, where you can forge new connections, share experiences, and create lasting memories.
