Join The Brain Injury Community Inc and Social Futures for a Picnic in the Park with optional Watersports activities by the Tweed River.
Whether you live with a brain injury or know someone who does, this all-inclusive event offers a great opportunity for you to try out a range of watersport activities with the assistance of our supportive network of staff and volunteers. We will also be providing a picnic style lunch for all attendees and their carer or support person.
Don’t miss out on soaking up the beautiful sunshine in a relaxed atmosphere by the harbour  with your peers and our friendly team of volunteers.
WHAT’S INCLUDED?
-Companion cards are accepted. Please ensure you present this upon arrival to a TBIC representative
-Watersport activities. All equipment and life jackets will be provided.
-Lunch and refreshments, please advise of any dietary requirements
-Free parking

THIS IS A BRAIN INJURY SURVIVOR EVENT, NOT A PROVIDER EVENT
-Our events are designed to create a fun and friendly space where brain injury survivors and their acquaintances can connect and enjoy themselves. We aim to support people affected by brain injuries by bringing communities together and providing excellent networking opportunities. Whilst this is not a provider event, we encourage support providers and carers to attend with their clients.
-Companion card tickets require validation. Please present a valid companion card to a TBIC representative upon arrival. Normal ticket prices may apply.
-This is a community event in a public area, securing free or paid tickets assists with communication and operations of the event, and does not guarantee seating.
-In the event of unfavourable weather, event updates will be posted on all TBIC socials and all ticket holders will be contacted to advise of any changes.
-Securing your ticket to a TBIC event joins you to our mailing list for future communications regarding news and event notifications or updates. Unsubscribe options are available.
