Come join The Brian Injury Community for a relaxing day on the beautiful Tweed River! Our event will take place at Tweed River Boat Hire (operating under Berger Houseboats).

Whether you’re a survivor, caregiver, or supporter, this event is the perfect opportunity to meet new people and connect with others who understand living with or supporting someone with a brain injury in a welcoming environment.

  • Our events are designed to create a fun and friendly space where brain injury survivors and their acquaintances can connect and enjoy themselves. We aim to support people affected by brain injuries by bringing communities together and providing excellent networking opportunities. Whilst this is not a provider event, we encourage support providers and carers to attend with their clients.
  • Companion card tickets are accepted by the venue. Please ensure you bring a valid card with you for this ticket type. Companion Card tickets are only valid if purchased with a full price ticket and require verification. Normal ticket costs apply if this ticket type cannot be verified.
  • This is a community event in a public area, securing free tickets assists with communication and operations of the event,.
  • In the event of unfavourable weather, all attempts will be made to source a suitable alternatve venue prior to any cancellation or date changes. Event updates will be published on all TBIC socials and all ticket holders will be contacted to advise of any changes.
