TBIC and Social Futures – Fish with Us Day on the Tweed River

The Brain Injury Community Inc. together with Social Futures invite you to join us for a fin-tastic day of fishing on the Tweed River, where we’ll reel in good times and create social connection with other brain injury survivors, their support person or carers.
Get ready to cast your lines while enjoying the stunning views of the Tweed River. Experience the joy of fishing, on a wheelchair accessible BBQ boat. You’ll have the change to learn new techniques and improve your fishing skills with the assistance from trained and experienced volunteers.
Meet other brain injury survivors and enjoy an all-inclusive fun day out on the water. Whether you’re a skilled fisherman, or this is your first fishing attempt, this event is perfect for everyone who loves to fish and those who would like to learn how. All abilities and skill levels are catered for!
We’ll provide all the necessary fishing equipment, including bait and tackle.
We will also be supplying a BBQ sausage sizzle for lunch and cold refreshments onboard, so all you need to do is show up and have a great time.
