The Brain Injury Community Inc. together with Social Futures invites you to join us for a Fishing Day and a Picnic on the Tweed River.

Experience the joy of fishing, on a wheelchair accessible boat, with the assistance of trained and experienced volunteers. All abilities are catered for!

Meet other brain injury survivors and enjoy an all inclusive fun day out on the water.

Whether you’re a skilled fisherman or if this is your first fishing attempt, this event is for you! Its going to be a great day, full of laughter and fun. And we might even catch a fish or two!

What’s Included:

Lunch and refreshments
Fishing equipment: rods, bait and tackle
Boat supports (wheelchair accessible)
We even have someone to bait your hook for you!

EVENT DETAILS:

Date: Friday 10th November 2023.
Time: 11am to 2pm **Boat departs @ 11am sharp. **NSW time
Location: Tweed Marina, 4 River Terrace, Tweed Heads, NSW 2485 ** Look for our flag near the site office.
Cost: $20 per person attending (plus Eventbrite booking fee).
